Hydra Publications Is Open for Submissions
Our main imprint is once again accepting queries for completed novels. Read the guidelines before sending your work.

Hydra Publications has reopened submissions to its main imprint. We are looking for distinctive, well-crafted stories in thriller, horror, fantasy, science fiction, steampunk, dystopian fiction, and related speculative genres.
Submit a completed novel of at least 70,000 words; LitRPG manuscripts should be closer to 100,000 words. Work must be original and previously unpublished, with first publishing rights available.
Email submissions@hydrapublications.com with “Acquisitions” in the subject line. In the email body, include a query of no more than 500 words, followed by the first 3,000 words of your manuscript, double-spaced. Do not send attachments, cloud-storage links, or the full manuscript unless requested.
The submission page explains what to include in your query, our manuscript requirements, and when to follow up. Please read it in full before submitting. This reopening applies to the main Hydra Publications imprint and does not change the policies of our other imprints.
